Whew, wedding a success

Mo and Miro's wedding was yesterday was incredible. The Pablo Neruda poem was not flubbed, amazingly enough. Not sure how I read a poem without any saliva in my mouth and my too soft of voice but the fact that my knees didn't buckle or I didn't stutter is my criteria for success.

The only pressure left is the photos! I practiced with this fancy 160 NC Porta film but when I practiced it was a nice day out the film didn't turn out that great. I then bought a polarizing lens which then seemed too dark and I ended up using the 400 instead of the 160. The black and white film seems similarly doomed - when I came home I realized I took it all at the wrong ASA! Argh! I should have coughed up the dough and paid for a professional photographer as a wedding present. I don't want to be responsible for crappy photos. Not sure what I was thinking when I agreed to take someone's wedding photos.

Ivan playing the accordian during the reception! I knew he could play the accordian but his performance was nothing like I could have imagined. Maybe I can hire him for my next party!

Anyway, even though it wasn't my wedding I feel like it was. I've been in this happy, surreal love glow all day long. I love weddings.
