Hello, My Name Is...

My name is "Andy's Wife." Oh sure, some people attempt to learn my name, "Janet" or "Janis" but basically I should just officially change my name to Andy's Wife.

Andy hosted a neighborhood tour of homes today to raise money for charity. The afternoon was a success and I'm sure some people give me credit. Little do they know that I stay out of my husband's planning of events. Andy's style is 95% fly by the seat of your pants and 5% planning. I'm 85% planning and 15% finesse.

Need I give examples? Andy was the key note speaker for an event and as we arrived to the conference hall he locked himself in one of the restrooms. Some people may lock themselves in the bathroom due to nerves and irritable bowels. Andy was in there writing his speech. He gave the best speech of the event.

I admire this talent. After almost a decade of marriage I never worry that he won't pull off what he sets out to accomplish. I just stay out of the way or I'll be the one locked in the bathroom with nerves and irritable bowels.
