Merry First Christmas Britta!

Britta's favorite things are to stand up with lots of support and to look at me and smile. I must remember this moment. I know smiling at mom won't be the top of her "what makes me happiest" list for long.

Her hair gets lighter and lighter with each washing. I don't think she'll be an albino like her brother but I can see the second coat of hair looks pretty light.

Buying presents for Britta this Christmas was wonderful. I never thought I cared much for girly things like jewelry and tights but buying her a charm bracelet and little pink tights made me really happy. So much for raising my kids in a gender neutral environment!
