rug madness

It's barely 10am and I'm already blogging about my gross out day. It all started when I brought the kids downstairs this morning and noticed the dog had puked on the rug. With one hand I cleaned up some sort of mystery vomit covered with sand. I was holding Britta in the other hand.

Shortly after breakfast Karsten started coughing, coughing, choking and then puked up his scrambled egg all over the rug -- just one foot away from where the dog had puked. Britta was half way undressed because I had poured her a bath. With one hand I tried to scrape chunks of mucous and scrambled egg out of the rug. Finally I was ready to get Britta in the bath. Surprise! Poopy blow out. Back to the changing table.

Now that I've had this little blog break it is time to scrub cogulated spit up off my clothes from last night. I should really change out of my "dry clean only" sweater before it is too late.
