Mommies

"Dear Mommies, I look around my classroom and see beautiful, wonderful, loved and nurtured little people and konw that they are so blessed to have Mommies like you." This note from the preschool teacher made me feel like a successful mommy, not just a frazzled mommy always running off to work, trying to keep on top technical skills or host a party...Karsten made me some soap and a hand print painting. He was so proud giving it to me and using the soap he made. I think I was the happiest mommy ever.

Also I just finished a book and a mommy buries her preemie baby... I looked at Britta smiling and I said, "I got you." I got my little girl. There were many months of being pregnant and wondering if it would all really work out.

I'm feeling very thankful.
