News Flash: I'm not tall!

Listen up all of you people checking out the depths of my nostrils or the pores on my chin, I'm not tall. Yesterday I surfed to the Gap.com and saw that now they have tall and petite sizes. Yay! Wait a minute, you have to be 5'11 to qualify to fit their tall size. I guess all of my pants will have to stay capri pants.

Also, last week I was reading an article in Redbook about how clothes are sized. To be a runway model you must be 5'10 or taller. Now what am I going to do for a back up career if this design thing goes south?* What good is being 5'9?

So to all of you tagging me tall or calling me "bean pole, too tall, daddy long legs, skeletor, bones" and the like, you are wrong. I am lumped into the average category.

This solidifies my theory that tall is just an optical illusion anyway. When your limbs are lanky you look taller. My daughter isn't even 3 feet tall and people tell me she looks tall. How can you barely reach the general population's kneecaps and be considered tall? Well actually according to the height per centiles the doctors have Britta is in the 75% for height and the 5% for weight when compared to other girls her age. I adusted for prematurity and got new stats: 95% for height and 10% for weight.

Now I had to go look up myself on the charts and see where I fall. According to this I am in the 20% for weight and the 100% for height. Ok. Maybe I am tall. Hmpf.

By the way, if you need to know if you have dandruff, just ask me. I've got a bird's eye view on all of you shrimps even if isn't doing me much good.
