Curse of the Luxury Vehicle

All the joy I felt (not much) that Andy was the last one to have the car keys, not me, has completely disappeared.* The cost to replace the keys is $600. $600. Did you get that? $600.

Sigh.

$600.

Not good.

We're going to tear apart our house a little more to see if they don't turn up. In the meantime it is carpooling for the Kleitschs.

I hate that car. I'm thinking back fondly to my friend Finke's high school truck where you could use a bread knife to start the car. If you were really desperate your fingernail would work, or at least my longer, painted nail would work.

Sigh. I hate that fancy effing car.

Keys, transmission and tires for Christmas presents. Yay!

--------------------
* I found out Andy blames me anyway because he thinks I may have put the keys away somewhere while I was cleaning up the house.

Maybe Andy should clean the house?

Once, a long time ago on Christmas our daughter (about the same age) hid our keys in the closet inside a shoe. I should mention this was not at our house but friends. It only took 2+ hours to find them.
Just a suggestion............

If the car is a Mercedes, let me know. My hubby works there and may be able to get a deal for you. sorry to here about lost keys. It's happened to us before too!
