It has been one of those days

My toe is still injured from the massive stubbing on my home office furniture yesterday. I squeezed it into my old athletic shoe anyway and I hit the gym for my aerobics class.

Running from the car to the entrance with umbrella, gym bag and Britta in arms to avoid the drenching rain I jammed something sharp between my cuticle and my fingernail. I kept running. We got inside and I checked Britta into the daycare. I headed towards the gym and noticed blood gushing from my fingernail. I got the bleeding to stop and then set up my step for aerobics. The instructor had just flown in from Vegas on a 3am flight where he said "the plane ran out of barf bags." Typical Vegas flight. Not an ideal start for the day of an aerobics instructor.

The class started and the room just fogged up... like doing aerobics in the tropical rainforest. The floor was really slippery and my shoes are ancient. The staff had decided to turn off the air conditioning because it has been so cold out. Working out today was a hazard.

Now I'm cozied up at home in front of the gas fireplace after Britta and braved a borderline flooding Costco.

And hopefully this lame post has distracted enough from my last "Jana might be a conservative" post.
