I needed a new driver's license photo anyway

As if the week wasn't crappy enough:

Karsten got sick

I got sick

Another kid poked Karsten in the ear with the stem of a fake flower and made his ear drum bleed. His school called me. I almost had to leave work to go get him but my mom had taken the week off and went to pick him up to take him to the doctor. He'll be fine.

I lost my wallet. I have no cash, no access to cash or credit since I had to cancel everything. We're out of the major food staples, including milk.

As Andy pointed out, I needed a new driver's license photo anyway (see post on never renewing your license when you're in your third trimester). I'm glad I married an optimist.
