Why buying furniture for our house is difficult
Email exchange between hubby and me:
Me: Found this awesomely cute shaped couch on craigslist today for only $75. We can go look at it tomorrow night after the party. The guy's giving me measurements.
It will be a project couch though because I'd have to sew a new slipcover for it.
hubby: no link?
me: don't freak

I think with a plain slipcover it will rock.
hubby: why in effin hell would you want this pile of crap?! ;-)
Sell our nice couch and get this rat infested flea bomb?
You'll need more than a slip cover... i'll need a slip cover for my eyes!
Me: This is for our BEDROOM. I sold the rocking chair.
Remember, I have the ability to spot a diamond in the rough: husband included. :)
------------
Conclusion:
waiting to see if we get this couch. I think it is the most fantastic couch ever. Ever. (with a new slipcover anyway.)

I'm afraid I gotta go with your husband on this one, although it could have the potential to be your "Charlie Brown Christmas tree".

I think I got the better couch. But I won't doubt you yet. BTW, just did a couch slipcover myself at it wasn't too bad, but those curves look hard to do.
