Gringo-izing the Bento
Amazon.com: Zojirushi Mr. Bento Stainless-Steel lined Lunch Jar, Silver: Home & Garden I am wondering if I could cram a p-b-and-hold-the-j in one of these, with some cheese puffs on top. I basically want to gringo-ize a bento box for my kid's lunch pail. He'd have to give up the cool Spidey lunch sack but the benefits would be no more plastic bags for his lunch. Better for the environment and better for his health. Maybe someone would want to etch some fancy stuff on it to make it more 7-year-old friendly? Could be cool.

Sigg has a nice little aluminum box that I just bought for sandwich transportation purposes. :)

I'm strangely in love with the fact that it looks like a gonzo sardine tin. (It comes in a few sizes, I have the mini one.)

I like it! That might be the better way to go since it is dishwasher safe too. Fun colors.
Andy loves canned sardines. He'll be all over the giant sardine can/lunch box.

I have some sigg water bottles but have been hearing controversy regarding the aluminum. Any thoughts?
